I like all of these except the last one -- while someone who acts maliciously may be doing so because they feel unloved or because they've had traumatic experiences, it doesn't excuse their current behavior.

I'm okay with the idea of it being a call for COMPASSION, maybe . . . but this smacks a little too much of the idea that you can change someone else's behavior if you just love them enough, which is directly contrary to what a lot of the other things were saying.

The rest are amazing, though!!

Right. You have to find that balance between responding lovingly to someone who needs that and protecting yourself. I suppose sometimes a loving response can even be withdrawing from someone's presence so that you aren't encouraging them to act in destructive ways, whether destructive to them or to others. Good food for thought. :)

Love offers the highs that makes this journey worth it...

And it takes some work too; the kind of work that can be joyful and that we want to pay attention to.

Love the sense of service that comes through (Don't we all love to be cared for?)
