I am sorry to hear about your mum, and I hope that she gets better. Just a couple of days ago I had to go with my mum to the emergency ward, she had trouble breathing and palpitation. And her boyfriend refused to come with us, the drunken ass, then he started to call her on the cellphone all the time and
wondered why she needed to get to the hospital... bloody idiot.
