I really enjoyed this. It's like a trip back into the sort of stories I loved when SGA was still in its heydey - and I mean that as the a compliment, not as a 'this belongs to four years ago' kind of comment. Deaging gadget with an engaging storyline - not "you're too young for me to be attracted to, emo emo angst" but this remembrance of having been uncomfortable with sex/sexuality at a certain age and not wanting to relive it or even re-try it in case it goes as poorly as the first time. And for it to be virginity-themed, too! Most excellent.

Things along the way that I liked include: Meredith's comment about having not been any nicer when she was young even though she was (bald declaration, love it) hotter; John's cluelessness about what he did wrong but his determination to figure out what it was and try to fix it; and their re-do scenario, which wasn't magically pain-free but certainly seems to have gone a lot better than she'd expected.
