A question from the ignorant and curious, who desire enlightenment: what's the saran wrap for? Or, rather, why saran wrap rather than rope? Does it somehow intensify the violet wand?

Two reasons: 1) when I did this same scene, I was done up with saran wrap, so, y'know, write what you know, and 2) saran wrap is fun! It makes such a neat noise, and it holds in a different way than rope does. So, y'know. It's just for fun.

Experience, so helpful with the verisimilitude! Thanks for the explanation; I've heard of using saran wrap for restraint but never seen it done and it wasn't something I immediately understood the appeal of, so it's also informative to learn a little about that. Thanks again!

Oh, awesome. Or rather: Awesome! I like how comfortable John has been in the last few stories, how matter-of-fact the stories are about how pain is arousing, no conflict, not even always d/s dynamics along with it.
