My no:1 comfort read is Hunting Parties. Delicious John/OMC romance with action and world-building.

this is not a chick flick, a Yuletide story from I think my Freshman year (so, 2008). Greek Mythology, Persephone/Hades, wonderful crack.

We Now Return to Your Regularly Scheduled Crisis, SGA, John/Rodney, wonderful fluffy happy ending stuff.

Have you read Complementary Colors? Rodney McKay is an artist and John is his model and it is all so wonderful and full of delicious art supplies porn and beautiful Rodney characterization. This one made me want to keep with the art majoring, the same way "freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose" (not linked, depressing, but reallyreallygood) made me want to keep with the physics.

Because I'm sleepy and lazy - here are a few of my favorite romantic stories (not all SGA, but most), and the few I have marked as comfort fic. Every time I see those few stories in that tag, I am reminded that one day I need to go through all my Delicious tags and re-do their tags correctly. One day, when I get a faster computer.
