My favorite part was Miles laughing that freely, I agree with Phoenix that he probably hasn't done that in a looong while and it certainly does him a lot of good.
The line were I laughed out at the loudest was this one though:

Miles snorted. “You're the one who likes lost causes, not me.”

This line? Was totally made of win! But poor, poor Feenie... *g*
