This is adorable and the banter is so good. And I like that it does stay a mystery, but not in a bratty, "I know and you don't" sort of way - it just plays out nicely.

Okay, now, seriously, why oh why didn't anyone take a guess at the pairings? ;)

I'm nearly positive it's House/Wilson and Cuddy/Cameron. I suspected from the beginning, with House "dressing" Wilson, but I'm 99.9% certain after the end. ;)

Now, it's been forever since this was written, but can I get some confirmation about my guess? )

Otherwise, great story, and the smoke rings were so perfect...as was the banter. Great stuff!

You're definitely right- I always meant for it to be H/W and Cu/C (my favorite canon non-compliant pairing).
