And I don't know what's up with their names. Sometimes Ted is Beetle, but Booster is always Booster.

You may know this by now but:

1) Booster didn't tell people his name all that much at first so it took awhile for Ted to find out his real name.

2) Booster was his nickname in college when he the QB of the football team so he responds to it as his name - he has originally picked Gold Star to be his hero name, but introduced himself to the president as Booster and then started to say Gold...and the President called him Booster Gold.

So that's why. There is a comic where Ted and Booster are laying on the floor [with Ted on Booster] and they are introducing themselves to Scott's neighbors and Booster has to stop himself from saying Booster and say Michael instead.

ALL OF THIS IS BEAUTIFUL AND TRUE BTW.

I knew about 2, actually, because it's like the ultimate "Booster, you spaz" moment. But I didn't know about the first one! He just doesn't seem like a Michael at all, and I'm always slightly confused when people call him that in fic.

And sure! They keep changing stuff around, and I keep being too damn lazy to fix it. PB is more or less the bane of my existence.
