I can't stop reading a story mid-sentence, unless I absolutely have to. If I can, I will wait until the end of the sentence, preferably the end of the paragraph, more preferably a section break, most preferably a new paragraph. I've actually forced myself to stay awake in order to reach such a break, even if I can barely remember what I've read in the morning.

and, to make this possibly a little easier:

I didn't meet my father until I was five. We still don't have the best of relationships.
