Yeah, that is kind of my happy place. I know they were brought up as warriors and that nothing was conventional in a normal way but the had to have crazy and boring and stupid stuff happen. They were kids you know.

Just checking out your old fic.
Really liked the atmosphere in this. It really felt like a warm, summer's evening. Liked the idea of John mellowing out a bit in the heat. (and your throwaway line about him cussing in Vietnamese when it got humid was a stroke of genius).
Liked the chat between the boys and the idea of someone feeding John hash cake made me giggle. That would be a brave person!

It is always cool as shit when some one stumbles on old fic and likes it enough to comment. 'Cause I sometimes forget about them. I like to think there are a few things that mellow John out. Heat might be one of them, hash cake another.
