Oh, I so loved this. Loved John's POV, his voice, his misery, his exasperation, his gruffness. His actual patience when I would've done more than just smack 'em ;)

Everyone thinks John was an impatient person and I sometimes think so too, but I also think he had to have the patience of a saint to deal with two boys in the close quarters they had to live in. It's amazing that both boys and John survived being father and sons living as they did on top of all the supernatural stuff they had to deal with!

ITA. I always thought that moment in Shadow when Dean apologizes for almost leading John into Meg's trap and John basically shrugs it off told us as much about the man as when he flew off the handle. I know I'm preaching to the choir though ;)

Ahhh, this was hilarious through and through. I loved how John's dying, but the boys are having the time of their lives.

I loved how John feels a little bad for commanding them like dogs, and then decides they deserve it. And then sends Dean to the corner where he still refuses to shut up. =)

John is dying a slow agonizing death. As a mother, I've been there.

Something about sending Dean to the corner cracked my ass off. God, I amuse myself sometimes. Obviously, it made a huge impression on Dean!
