A special thank you to el1ie, eyestoowide and ficwriter1966 who gave me cute little cuddly pandas.  They are really adorable and it makes me miss my little corner of LJ.  Thank you all for putting up with my lack of LJ attentiveness due to RL kickassedness.  I don't even think that's a word.  But...in any case, I appreciate it and when I have time I'm going to try to catch up ( Read more... )

Thanks for the rec :) I love reading pre-series with a great John

Sorry if you have been prompted this before

Teenchesters, John POV- during some downtime John reflects on the years without Mary and how different each of his sons are and his worries and fears for their future.

Sounds like a great idea. I think this could be a serious fic, it could be great to write but I'm thinking just a bit too much for my state of mind right now.

Still, I love the idea!

Thanks, hon.

Oh you're welcome. I have to admit that I was rereading some of my old favorites and it was on my mind.

WeeChester/TeenChester! Sam is 10, Dean 14, It's winter and cold as a bitch. They're stuck inside because of a blizzard and driving John insane until he handles it ;)

Hey, sweetie! Glad you're getting some time off and are writing. I texted you last week to check in, but you were probably up to your eyeballs in patients. You're still my hero, dealing with all the things you do.

I feel like I've fallen off the planet or something. Gonna try to post something today. I think I remember how. :)

I didn't get your text...or if I did I don't remember. Last week was hell. Just Hell. So please don't hold it against me. I need to see your smiling face. When are you back in town?

Keep me in the loop. I'm off that weekend! I took off the whole week prior just to celebrate Season 8. (that and I needed some time off)

Hey hon, there is only one Dragons, but also, there is only one Saberivojo, those two facts mean I get twice the amount of great fic! It's like having cake and scones for tea, don't make me choose!

I've often thought that while John left his hunting journal for his boys to follow in the family tradition, maybe he kept a personal journal too, a record for Mary, telling her all about her sons. The hopes he has for them, the little things he watches them do for each other, the times he steps in when they're not even aware of the danger, the mistakes he makes along the way. Maybe some of those times where he and his temper jumped in before he understood the whole story. I bet those two were a puzzle far harder to solve than any demon activity or weather patterns!

A personal journal sounds like a good idea. I think though that it could be a very complicated and rather intense fic. I will think about it but I'm not quite sure I'm up to it. Still, maybe one journal entry at a time...Maybe?

Mmm, you made me read Dragons again. 'S been a while. I nearly forgot her way with a phrase.

I don't have any John ideas, because that man never spoke to me no matter how much time I spent with his damn family. But you seem to get along with him just fine.

Sometimes you just need to listen to John. He's hard to hear with all the yelling going on. :)

Miss you ducky!
