My knees and joints in general have been complaining more frequently, might be time to switch from running to blading and see if things improve.

And with the big wheels available nowadays (100mm and 110mm) it's a LOT smoother and more "rocks in the path" friendly than the old ones.

Plus you can get some great cheetah legs... LOL.

Yeah... Venom, the back one. I thought it looked cool and used it in the Napa races we had a few years back.

Speed Skating uniforms are like Cycling ones, but without all the padding.

So you're saying if I put on 50 pounds, I'll burn even MORE calories? I'll get right on that.

I just can't seem to get past that stabbing pain in my back after just 15 minutes. But I'm still working on my core and legs. Tai Chi is helping with that.

I also need to move where there's a skate park. The roads around my house suck.

Yes... 50 lbs can really help you burn extra calories. I'm thinking you're already 50 lbs up. :)
15 mins is actually pretty good. Keep at it, it'll soon be 16 mins. 17 mins. 20 mins. For me it's currently around 45-50 mins before I feel the pain. At an hour, numbness is your friend.

And there's no indoor rink where you are at?
