Honestly, ask any person who knows me really well and they'll probably tell you that I am very sensitive to anything that seriously disrespects and degrades anyone based on gender, age and more importantly, ethnicity or race.

I'm guessing they were offended because the history behind Blackface makes it as loaded and offensive as the N-word.

i just dont understand y it's ok for harry connick jr (snl) or robert downy jr (tropic thunder) to paint their faces back for comedy and yet that skit was labelled racist. And how do non-african ppl portray the jacksons w/o painting themselves black? It wasnt a big budget performance. These were amateurs dressed up as their idols. I honestly think it was blown out of proportion.
