I just left you a message on Tumblr (I'm princess_nell on Tumblr), but I wanted to reiterate how much I loved this. You just said so much with so few words, and you took something that could be a cliche (mirror imagery) and used it very effectively.

Thank you! Sometimes a prompt just hits you and you have to write it, so I'm glad this worked for you. :)

This is absolutely lovely. It seems like such a simple premise, but I love how you twist it into something really gut-wrenching. Plus, it's got this underlying positive beat, because while it's a messed up mind frame, it also says that Finnick doesn't hate himself. So, good for him! :)

My freaking heart. D: It's pretty likely Finnick had a lot of issues with his appearance/self-esteem so I love his response here. You handle this concept well.

OMG! I thought I'd replied to this already! I wasn't ignoring you, I promise.

Anyway...

I'm happy this worked for you, short as it is. I've always had this notion that Finnick hates the way he looks, because of all horror it's brought him, so when I saw the prompt, this popped almost full-blown into my head and I just had to write it down.

Thank you for reading and for leaving such a nice comment. :)
