So when I was glancing over my festivids! assignment, I thought I only matched on one fandom and started having immediate ideas of what to do (although no song yet). But then I read through them all more carefully and realized that, while technically we only matched on one fandom, actually there is a second one that I didn't offer because it never occurred

Yay for your brain!

I am in a dither, trying to get The Perfect Song for my assignment, which...UGH. Last year, that meant dinking around for 2 months trying to decide on music, and leaving almost no time for the vidding. I keep finding good lyrics, bad tone, or great tone, wrong vocals, or other *arghs*.

Meanwhile, I've already thought of great ideas for a few treats, which is not helping.

If you find something that's like half right, I've recently discovered that I'm pretty decent with cutting songs down. I did one that had like 8 cuts, all of which were in the middle of the song, and when I had fahrbotdrusilla listen to it, she only picked out one of them, which is was able to fix. :D

My very first Festivid I found a song that the first 2 verses & chorus were perfect and the rest was totally wrong, so that one was easy to cut.
