1. I friended you because I really enjoyed that Florida Fangirl trip and you and bets_cyn were hilariously awesome. (You still are.) 2. I associate you with awesome shoes. Platform pumps FTW! 3. Something I like about you: your generosity, and not necessarily related, but how supportive you are of my little meltdowns even when you're not part of the fandom I'm melting down over. :D 4. A memory I have of you: standing in a Florida kitchen discussing various types of knives and how you and your twin always carry one because they're great tools. 5. I associate you with Penelope Garcia. 6. Something I've always wanted to know about you: What was your first real fandom? The one you fell in love with and still sometimes flail over, even though you've moved on to other fandoms. 7. My favorite userpic of yours:

6) Scarecrow and Mrs King. Hands down. Lee Stetson was my first TV boyfriend. I still want a silve t-top corvette as that impractical and yet awesome car I can't afford the insurance on. I still love that show even if it is cheese ball awesome. And OMG ***flail*** they finally released the DVDs...S4 comes out March 2013ish. I have S1-S3. I wanted to be Amanda King, super secret agent soccer mom... The ordinary woman who becomes the secret spy. Still do.
Damn real life where the hell is MY Lee Stetson?!?! :-)
7) I do love that icon too. Fluke I found the rock on the beach. :-)
Scarecrow and Mrs. King was FUN! My dad actually used to watch that with me when I was a kid and he always said I reminded him of Kate Jackson in it. O_o
1. I friended you because I'd seen you around fandom and then when you popped up in the HBB, it just seemed right. 2. I associate you with Sophie Deveraux. 3. Something I like about you: your taste in music. 4. A memory I have of you: similarly to you, working with you on the HBB. 5. I associate you with Sophie/Nate 6. Something I've always wanted to know about you: what do you think of first when you decide to fuse two fandoms together? What sparks it? 7. My favorite userpic of yours:

what do you think of first when you decide to fuse two fandoms together? What sparks it?
I'm not exactly sure? I mean, I had that Leverage/Hunger Games fusion bouncing around in my head for over a year before I managed to work out the kinks in it.
I think it's really about my desire to put my favorite characters from different fandoms together. Like, I think the Leverage characters would work wonderfully in the Pretty Little Liars universe. I just don't know where the show is going with A, so I don't want to mess with it yet.
But, yeah, that's mostly it. From there, I have to work through the idea, figure how the fandoms can fit together, find the similarities and weave both canons together. It's like a huge logic puzzle.
Yes! I see things that I think might work together all the time, but I (almost) never write them because I can't just throw them together and hope for the best. They have to work and make sense.
1. I love your fannish enthusiasm. :) 2. Revenge (a show I would probably love, if I had the time to sit down and watch it). 3. I don't know you well yet, so I'm going to go with the fannish again... I like reading your episode reviews. You make me want to see shows that weren't on my radar (Revenge) and you make me want to see shows RIGHT FRAKKING NOW when they are on my radar (new eps of Doctor Who). 4. You make some great observations when you review fic. Some of them even spark ideas... 5. The Ponds 6. Which version (or versions) of the Doctor is your favorite and what do you like best about that version? 7.

YOU NEED TO WATCH REVENGE. AND THEN WRITE A TON OF NOLAN/EMILY FANFIC. GET THEE TO NETFLIX IMMEDIATELY. :D
Oooh, good question! I started with Nine and fell head over heels in love with him. But then I fell for Ten, too. It's sooo close between them. I think Ten edges out Nine just a bit, because I got to spend more time with him. Three seasons and all the specials. What I like about him -- he's so adorably geeky and enthusiastic, but he can turn on a dime, and be all Oncoming Storm and really dark. I think David Tennant is amazingly talented (he acted his socks off in Hamlet).
Of course, most of that applies to Nine, too, so like I said, it's reeeeaaaly close.
1. We had people in common on our flists and interests in common and you kept using an awesome Helo icon, back in the day. 2. Doormouses. Or would that be doormice? ;) 3. Your sense of humor. 4. You and I usually race to be the first to volunteer to beta stuff for Lithy. 5. Actually, I don’t really associate with any characters or pairings. What I really associate you with are funny stories about life in an office with fabulous names for your coworkers. 6. What’s usually your favorite part of any fandom you’re in? 7.
( ... )
Ahh yes. No. 6. Fic, I think. I haven't really got into many fandoms the way I used to back in the day when I was in the Xena fandom. The downsides of fandom are the crazy, crazy people (and I don't mean my kind of crazy, I mean the batshit kind of crazy) and so I tend to lurk on the edges of fandoms these days. But I'm a sucker for fan fic so that's my favourite bit. Although these days I seem to rely on other people for recs as I've gotten out of the habit for trawling for stuff :) Also, I do occasionally meet awesome people who are my kind of crazy through fandoms - hi! :D
1. You write wonderful, insightful fic and the same can be said for your meta and episode/movie/etc. reviews. I’ve always loved reading them, even if I don’t always comment. 2. Blessed Be the Fruit. That is one of the few crossovers I’ve read, because so often they only exist because the author wanted to pair so and so from different shows played by the same actors. :P But this. This fic is thinky and feely and I’m only familiar with one of the fandoms crossed, but that doesn’t even matter because you created your own world with it and it’s simply amazing. 3. I like that you think about things. All sorts of things. And you’re not afraid to try new things, like baking and vidding. 4. Trying to recruit people to watch Huge. I wanted to! Because you were so passionate about it. But I just wasn’t in a place/time when I could watch and then it went away and that made me feel both sad and a little guilty for not having taken the time to watch it. 5. Kara Thrace. 6. What’s your favorite thing to do when you have down time? 7.
( ... )
For down time, I like to cook or bake. Take last night. I got my veggies from the CSA and I was so tired but I pulled them out washed, dried, cooked them and put them away. The food was so good. It make me happy after a long day to be eating healthy food. Others would have been so exhausted but it cheered me in my tiredness.
