I've been listening to the Mass Effect 2 soundtrack lately (yes, I listen to video game soundtracks now, NERD). I don't know if this is what you had in mind, but these tracks kind of fit in my head when I think of urgency of trying to save someone: Tali and Grunt. Oh, and if you need a Big Damn Hero moment...Suicide Mission (it's happier than the title sounds...parts of it actually remind me strongly of recent Dr Who).

I love that song, but it doesn't really fit. It has a more relentless tone than urgent, but thanks for reminding me of its existence -- I had to listen to it. :D
