Me, either. Maybe it stems from Sarah/Derek shippers and Jesse coming between Sarah and Derek? But as much as I ship Sarah/Derek myself, it was never going to happen on the show, or if it was, it would have been seasons in the future. *shrug*

See and my reaction as a Sarah/Derek shipper was instant OT3. Sarah/Derek/Jesse would have been hot. ;D

I've always loved Dualla, and the Lee crazies really got on my nerves.

Dualla was awesome. She never deserved the crap fandom threw at her.

Kendra was pretty awesome, too. I was always disappointed that she died rather than being brought into the show as a new recurring, if not regular, character. *sniffle*

I haven't seen/heard much Janeway hate, but I'm definitely aware of the Dawn hatred, which is pretty bad, considering I was never part of Buffy fandom. D:

Good choice. I think character-hate tends to go over my head because I don't dislike a character unless he or she is written poorly. Many characters, like Jesse, have a agendas that run contrary to the hero's own agenda and I guess that gets those characters a bad reputation. Or some are created with abrasive personalities and a whole lot of issues (Kara Thrace, anyone?). But those are characters! They're supposed to mimic life and inspire (sometimes negative) emotion.

Now if I run across a character who clearly had no place planned in a plot arc, whose only purpose is to make bad jokes or look good then I'm probably not interested.

So ... yay Jesse.

Yeah, I never understand hating on a character, either. Even those I dislike still have something I find interesting, if not endearing. :P
