Yes to all of this! I'm okay with the 'twist'. I think it was a bit predictable and it makes me sad for my shipper heart as well as the fact that Amy + Rory don't get to raise bb!River...but otherwise, it's kinda cool?

See, I got a little thrown by my own brain making assumption - River said that the first time she met the Doctor, he knew everything about her, but he clearly didn't know River when she was in her spacesuit. Of course, that's not the first time for her, but for us. Damn pesky subjective timelines.
And yes, I'm looking forward to September - especially the "You're doing what with our daughter??" questions from Mr & Mrs Pond, among other things *s*

I was fairly sure that River wasn't going to be Melody because it was such a widely speculated theory (and even I had a post about it and I'm almost always totally wrong :P ;) ). I'm kinda loving that this sort of makes Amy the Doctor's mother-in-law, lol! ;) *giggles* I don't even know why that makes me laugh, it just does. ;)

I think I'm like the only one okay with the River twist, lol.
I really don't like that they split up the season this year, I mean I know why but still. I didn't mind that scheduling before much. :)
