As to the feedback...whut? I mean, okay, maybe someone thinks that but it's...not in any way true. I mean...if you don't know the show maybe you shouldn't make assumptions about whether someone's put a whole sequence in, and if you do know the show...why do you think the Colonial Fleet arrive 30 seconds before the basestars? And...if you've flat out ever watched telly, you'd know that unless they think you've stolen from the "previouslies" clips aren't that short

I'm thinking it was because the mod was horribly overwhelmed/overextended at the time due to RL things outside her control and yes, I do still want to participate. For me, it's almost as much challenging myself to make something I wouldn't necessarly make on my own (the prompts) and to do it faster than the sometimes two years it takes me to make a vid otherwise.

The only thing I can come up with on the timing is that streaming services and their interactions with browsers and memory on comuputers etc etc sometimes screw with the way vids run. Maybe? 'Cause otherwise, I don't know. I know it's not perfectly timed, because I'm still learning how to use Vegas and I'm not, y'know, actually a Cylon or anything, but I still think it wasn't too far off the beat.

I definitely understand wanting the challenge, and I really don't think the timing was in any way bad, but the streaming thing might have caused issues, yes.

Actually right now I'm working on a vid that I think might take me aaaaaages to finish because it's all..idk, big and epic and to a lyricless song, so I'm hoping it won't take me two years, so it's sort of like the opposite kind of a challenge since I'm usually very fast. I am having to thing about things. IT'S WEIRD.

I've never made a vid to a song without lyrics. I find the thought a bit scary, so yay for you! I do have one I'd like to make someday, though.

Fade Out took well over a year and one of my Supernatural vids (Won't Give In) took at least two (one of my betas called me on my bullshit and I had to back up and actually, yes, think about what I was trying to say).

With the exception of one or two 5-10 second stretches, although the vidder seemed to attempt to cut in time to the music, it was very out of sync. I believe the first 30 seconds was just lifted directly from an episode with no real editing.Dude. Were they even WATCHING the same vid that I just did? o_O First of all, uhhhhh, no real editing in the first 30 seconds? Does this person know what editing looks like? 'Cause yeah, that was editing right there! o_O And BZUH? Out of sync? With what? The universe in general or something? Because that was cut right to the music, so that can't be the out of sync of which they speak! o_O (It kinda makes you wonder if it was something off with their playback: I've actually watched a vid before whose audio/video was noticeably off to me but everybody else said it was synced up fine, so it was just something on my computer that wasn't playing well with it, I
