I really like this vid. And that's saying a lot because I hardly watch BSG vids anymore. Sure, by people I know but not nearly as much as I once did. I don't think there are as many as there once was.

But I like this one. Most of it is loving the song. Gotta love the Bangles. But not just that. I like the pacing. I like the choice of characters and their changes, their choices.

On a subsequent viewing, this is funny! Some of the lyrics, like "Down by the riverside." Hee! Leoben thinking of the resistance as riverside riff raff. And "grass is high" with the weed made me giggle out loud. Hee!

I like a vid where I get more out of it on further viewings. At first I was thinking very seriously about it. And it is serious. How Ellen and Tigh changed, Felix's choices, yes. But it also has humor too. And the Bangles! I really enjoyed it. :-)

You know, if the song isn't "right," somehow, I just can't quite vid it, if that makes sense? Things just won't come together. And I'm so glad the pacing works for you -- I have a feeling the quick cuts and the sheer number of clips may be what got me knocked out of the competition so early.

I'm glad the humor comes through, too, because I have a tendency to add a little irony to vids and it isn't always something that others pick up on, I don't think. "Grass is high" was a must, and I had Cally there at "fields are ripe" 'cause I'm pretty sure she was pregnant already. :P
