This was lovely, and it really brings back the warmth and humor of the early days in their relationship. Mitchell's story is sweet and sad, like looking at an old photograph, and I loved all the details, the things he doesn't say.

I like Annie falling asleep, and the sense of comfort they seem to find with each other here. Wonderful story ♥

Oh man, this was so wonderful! It's exactly what I had in mind for this prompt, I love the way Mitchell comforts Annie, how in doing that, he remembers his own life before he was turned. This is exactly what I love about this pairing, how by taking care of her, he's reminded of his own humanity instead of being drawn futher away from it. This was wonderful to read and your grasp on the characters is amazing. Thank you so much for writing this story, I enjoyed it so much!
