This was a great mixture of hope and heartbreak. I loved the little flashbacks to Billy's proposal and Dee's POV of the dance on New Caprica. Nice job.

:::heart breaks for Dee, even though this is supposed to be a happy moment for her:: That was lovely. I love Dee, and I love how you've captured both her strength and her vulnerability in this, and the fact that, all things considered, Dee really is a young woman still figuring out her romantic life when this all hits. Excellent stuff!

I always love stories that get me to see my less favourite characters in a better comparative light. Being all about the pilots is kind of selfish, sometimes, it seems =) But I am so glad to see this, with Dee's quietitude and her doubts; it gives me a sympathetic viewpoint, almost against my inclinations =)

This was the most WONDERFUL thing to come home to this afternoon!

I LOVE IT!

I love how you've captured that fragile and precarious moment when Billy proposed to Dee and connected it to Lee's proposal. I think it's made all the more poignant by what we know happens to both of them in the end.

One of these days, I'm going to write that "Leland The Explorer" fic that's been knocking around in my head. He talks to Dee a lot in his solitude...
