I have about 5 seconds left to vid in my Kendra Shaw (BSG Razor) vid. \o/ I could finish a draft tonight, after work! This is a Sweeth Charity pinch hit from forever ago for cyborganize and my very first vid on Sony Vegas. I am so excited. Even if I have to move some stuff around to make it 10 seconds left, so that I can fit in the last couple of scenes

Yay, vid! I found my festivid got me going on several vids. How are you liking Sony? What program were you using before?

I know what you mean. I finished my festivid and moved right on to finishing this one, which is very unusual for me. Usually, when I finish something, my brain stops for a few days and I can't do anything fannish. :P

There are so many things I love about Vegas, but it's so much more of a serious program that I've only just touched on the simplest of things it can do. I'm going to have to search for some good tutorials. I figured out months ago how to do a pan and zoom, but now I've completely forgotten how it worked and I only figured it out in the first place after an hour or so of frustration. (In yet a 3rd vid I'm working on, I can get it to zoom or not to zoom, but not to zoom in with motion, which is what I want.)

The other program I use is Roxio VideoWave, which is pretty easy and works similarly to Windows Movie Maker, only it's got more bells and whistles and makes a much better final product, imo.

Yeah, I know! Vidding takes a lot out of me. I'm actually surprised I got a decent vid draft done when I was so tired from Yuletide. But I love my fandoms and heck, there is someone out there making vids for us!

I'm just back to Sony after a very long hiatus. I do remember Pan/Zoom but unfortunately I don't know much about its sekrits. I'm still learning with Sony and I haven't figured how to make my effects a bit more . . . subtle.

I've never heard of Roxio Radio Wave before. Sounds better than WMM. I found Sony and never looked at anything else but there is lots there to play with. :-)

(Hee, I've got four vids on separate timelines at the moment. Not all will see the light of day but I'm having fun playing. :-)
