I heart Karl Urban and thought he was perfect for Dr McCoy as soon as I heard about the casting. He didn't disappoint and neither do you.
I can totally hear his "space is disease and madness wrapped in darkness and death!" paranoia and irritation with Kirk here, and yeah, he'd totally fling that at James T. as an insult in this situation.
Although of course, I now want to know WHY they're in this situation, how they'll get OUT of this situation and if there's any reason in PARTICULAR Uhura would have been better placed to handle this? ;)

That's great. I really liked Karl Urban's Bones, and I love that they wound up in their underwear.
Where's my funny "comfort Typhoid Molly" fic? ;} (Oh, wait, I can watch the Love Boat.) I was actually trying out a Gilligan's Isle one in my head last night while coughing until 4am.
