Well, hopefully, whatever year you get to go, I will be there, too. (And no, that's not weird at all.)

I always worry when I remix something that the original author will hate it, but then I read something that was linked to (and sadly, I can't remember who or where) that included a reminder that the remix challenges aren't fic exchanges and that we're not really writing a fic (or a remix) for someone else and shouldn't stress over whether or not they like it. Of course, I still worry... :P
