Yes, someone had to crack. And actually Dee's not the only one in this ep to crack, but she is the one to do so spectacularly and permanently. *sob* I understand what she did, but I don't like it and it really goes against the inner strength that Dee always seemed to have.

(I totally need another Dee icon, because this one is way too happy.)

Dude, you need to stop by the ep discussions in mrsdrj's journal and at Kindreds- we've been analyzing the heck out of it and it sort of makes sense to a few people why now.

(And how cool was it that Sam Anders used to be a rockstar??? \o/) Word!!!!! *faints with silly fangirlness*

Or will she be rebron as a baby? Caprica's baby?????? O_o ... You just broke my brain. I mean... weird/ewww!!! LOL

Yeah, I wonder how long it took/ will take Lee to get to the "If only I'd kept it in my pants with Kara" line of thinking. I suspect if Dee had had all of Lee's love she would have still had something to live for. But she knew she didn't have that, not really.

This episode is like Pegasus. It's not one of those episodes you're going to go "Hey, let's randomly watch that one over and over again!!" But neither can you fault it as a piece of art.

Art. Yes, this one I think qualifies as art in a way that not many of the others do. 33 also. But I'm not sure I'll rewatch it for a long, long time.

STOP KILLING OFF THE COOL CHICKS!
Hear! Hear! *bangs cup on table* I agree 100%, about the killing and the trash talking. D'Anna was the one that killed me. I hope she reappears.

I love your icon. You're so right about that scene.

I hope D'Anna reappears, too. And not just in a throwaway scene where she's all alone on that planet. :(

There was chatter about her not being available for shooting, but I'm hoping it's a red herring.

The worst of Adama's trash-talking was apparently not in the script, it was EJO improvising. If that helps at all.

I third that sentiment re: killing off the cool chicks.

*laughs and laughs at icon*

Ditto for the heartbreak over Dee. :/

it seems to me that all of the FF are born, live out their lives, die, and are reborn as a baby.

That's my best guess right now, too. It's really fascinating.

I love the almost Hindu interpretation of the reincarnation of the FF, rather than the resurrection of the others. And now that I think about it, much of the music of the FF has kind of an Indian sitar-ry sound to it. Hee!

That episode was very good, but was very hurty/owy to watch. I felt tired after watching it the first time.

It really made every effort to rip the heart right out of your chest as you watched. I think the only people not about to toss themselves out an airlock are the Agathons because they have something to live for still (Hera and each other).

I have a bucketload of speculation for this episode, but it took me several hours to work it through and three viewings.

There's like two pages of crap on my LJ whenever you have time. It's all stream of consciousness, so please, ask questions if it's baffling.
