That was awesome. I love the Kara/Karl dynamic you've got going here - it's very believable. I often write them (and am in Bright, Shiny Futures) as having been together at the Academy and being old friends. I love the easy way the conversation flows here - it's very 'them' and I can envision the scene and their reactions as I'm reading.
