I love the idea of Helo trying to study and be a good cadet while Kara does her best to help him slack off. Great second chapter and great way of weaving in the bits and pieces of her past.

Great, fun second chapter. I like that you've established certain aspects of their relationship here without exploring them in detail. We know where they stand with eachother, but you didn't have to hand hold us through it. Very nice.

Hee! Definitely them. Of course Karl would be ramped up about studying, and Kara anything but. Nice touches about her father's piano music and her failed Pyramid bid.
