Oh, this is very nice. It makes absolute sense to me that Starbuck would be hiding with Helo from what is really her latest mistake, and you've caught it so subtly and so very well. She doesn't show that she needs him, couches it as him needing her.

haha - That rings so true and I totally believe that Kara thought she was doing the grown-up thing in marrying Sam like that, 'cause she's crazy. But I think she really did want to reinvent herself and start anew - and this echoes in her scene with Adama too.

As she says the words, the heavy weight of every mistake she’s ever made, every fight she’s ever started just so she could feel like she was really there, like people really saw her, seems to fall away. Sam Anders - her husband - sees things in her that no one else does, and she kinda likes that.

<3 I don't think I really understood why Kara married Sam until we got that deleted scene in Collaborators where they spelled out how much she wanted to become a different person with him on New Caprica.
