Oh, you are not. You're a highly cultured gentleman, kinda like a pearl of great value (the result of being an irritant, however, so don't get a big head). :P

Serenity is the Firefly movie from Joss Whedon. Firefly was briefly on Fox here in the states and Fox (aka the showkiller) did just that: they showed the episodes out of order and didn't even air 3 of the episodes. The fan outcry based on the 10 eps they did show was dramatically similar to our fight for Farscape and Serenity is the feature film that resulted from that and from the rapid sell-out of the DVDs when they came on the market. If you go to here and search for Serenity you can check out the yummy trailer (since you're at work and have that nice connection to the internet ( ... )

And I don't know what happened either, i checked about 11:50, nothing. Then went to play with icons and fonts, 12:12 they were all gone. *sigh*

I just checked Columbus again and it looks like they're sold out here now, too. Although at about 12:30, someone on the OhioScapers yahoo group said that they only had about 100 tix left and that was only 20 minutes after sales opened.

I thought it wasn't coming out until the end of September? Tickets are on sale already?

I didn't catch the show the first time around, but they are going to air it on Sci-Fi Channel starting in July. I'll be tuning in.

It isn't, but it's being prescreened in 35 cities on June 23. Before that it was 20 cities on May 26 and before that it was 10 cities and I forget the date, but they all sold out.

Skiffy should start showing the episodes (hopefully in order) on July 22, the week after s2 BSG airs. Woohoo!
