Just wanted to let you know I read this, and I think you handled the piece really well. The voices sounded right, the gestures, the inner monologues. Good stuff. I liked the sex scene. I think you handled it tastefully but bravely, and I really appreciate that you didn't use Harlequin Romance terminology. Nice work. Not the only time you've touched on this pairing, but then, I agreed back then that they are a natrual fit, at very least for frak buddies.

Loved it!

Kara and Helo are totally awesome together and you portrayed their very forgiving friendship perfectly. I loved the set up and the smut was delish!

Just found this--I really enjoyed it! As others have said, it is nice to see some more of Caprica, and I love the way you handled all of the post-apocalyptic details. It always felt like a coherent story, rather than exposition.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment. I'm a great believer in "show, don't tell" and I'm glad this worked for you in that regard, because there really was a good deal of exposition in it.

I really wish they could have had more eps involving Starbuck and Helo's Caprica Road Show. It would have been so much fun.

Fabulous! I adore the fairly rare pairing of Helo/Starbuck, and this one was just great. Loved their characterizations, the understanding, how they snapped back to "on the run" mode at the end. Nicely done!

Thank you! Helo/Starbuck is one of my favorite pairings, too, whether as friends or friends-with-benefits doesn't matter. They're just fun together! :)
