I can't help but be a little nervous about that... are they going to ask Emmett because they like him and his playing or are they only asking so they can "push the deaf angle" and use his deafness in order to get the gig?

I think there have been genuine moments between Toby and Emmett and, so long as Toby's gambling doesn't get in the way, I think Toby could actually really appreciate Emmett in the band. On the other hand, I do see Wilke as only wanting him to "push the deaf angle," which is a good point, and now I'm a little worried too. I'd love to see Emmett become a permanent member of the band, but on his own merit.

God, if they are asking him only to play the "deaf angle" and Emmett finds out, he will SO not do it... he will SO leave them hanging...
