Bay's father had to have known.. that's more than likely the reason the left. The hospital, of course, is also at fault because they would have found out when Daphne was sick.

...and now I get all nit-picky about this show's total disregard for the Kansas City area... because Mission Hills and Riverside are not even CLOSE to each other and the odds of them sharing a hospital is crazy in the first place...

...unless Regina and Katherine happened to be in the same area when they went into labor and there was no time to get them to their regular doctor's hospitals... +ponders+

I don't get why he wouldn't have said something if he knew... or did he not want to hurt anyone by telling, but at the same time couldn't deal with it, so he left?

Perhaps he already wanted an excuse to leave them, and that one and ran with it.

Have you seen Mistaken Identity? I accidentally found it on Netflix and watched it. It's basically the same story as SaB, but the children are boys and they find out when the boys aren't quite a year old (and the "poor mom" isn't Latina). Anyway, I think SaB has paid a lot of homage to MI, right down to the style of its opening credits. And in that movie, the "rich mom" (forget her name) was out antiquing when she went into unexpected labor, which was how she ended up at the same hospital at the "poor mom." So I wouldn't be surprised if your theory turns out to be true.

I think that's the reason that Daphne's father left: he found out that she wasn't his. But, in doing so, Regina must have discovered there was a mistake.

I don't much like John. Katherine is growing on me, which says a lot because Howard the Duck traumatized me as a kid and I haven't watched anything with Lea Thompson in it since then XD

You want Lea Thompson trauma? Watch Red Dawn and watch her carry abound an assault rifle.

Just watch the Nostalgia Critic's review of HtD. Should clear it right up.

I so did not see the stalking Bay thing coming, I thought she had a boat load of cash from a law suit she'd hidden away. I absolutely love the Bay/Emmett developement. They're so cute! :D

I am floating on a little cloud of happiness about Bay and Emmett together, since they are about the cutest thing I've seen on my tv in a very long time. I am all about their relationship growing ( ... )

I thought it was rather sweet that Regina knew but decided not to do anything about it. I just thought it was sort of a testament to how much she loved Daphne and I don't know... naturally, she'd be curious about Bay so... I think the revelation doesn't seem to be that big of a deal as the show seems to want to make it.

I've never ever liked John. He's the worst. Kathryn (how are we supposed to spell her name?) used to be the worst for me as well but since she learned signing and seemed to have stopped the ridiculous crusade to want to "fix" Daphne, she's much more sympathetic. John is just so entitled and to me the whole "I just want to sue them so that they'll say sorry" thing was just so... annoying.

I ship Bay/Emmett like woah. I'm not going to lie. I approve of it all :) I don't think Emmett lied to Daphne intentionally and even if he did, Daphne wasn't the one who has to be told first imo.

This show is so awesome and I'm completely hooked

I kind of agree about Regina - if her intention was to not cause the drama of a custody battle. At the same time though she has been lying all along and that can't be ignored and I can understand why Bay and Daphne are going to be hurt by what she did. Kathryn [using the web site's spelling of her name] and John are going to be understandably angry for both the emotional reasons and the legal ones. It will make them doubt anything Regina has to say in the future.

Anyway Kathryn is definitely growing on me - especially with her attempts to learn sign language. John's just being an ass all around. For all that's been said about Kathryn learning sign I don't know if he's even going to try.

Bay/Emmett is going to be interesting... though I hope they don't make there be that much more drama with Daphne.
