Now that Irene's moved on up the coast, we seem to be in the clear here in Va. Didn't have any serious flooding, didn't lose power (thank goodness!), and we didn't take any damage. The yard and the trees all seem to be fine.

I hope everyone else that are or have been in the storm's path are okay.

We just had a 5.8 earthquake here. In northern VA. I'm okay. The house seems to be okay. Stuff fell off the walls and off the top of the fridge, etc ( Read more... )

Hey, all! :) It's, once again, a beautiful day here. Sunny and 70 degrees. I got just a little work done in the yard, hauled some branches to the brush pile, got one of the chainsaw chains unstuck from the log it was embedded in.
