I never had a thing for serial killers before... well.. if you don't include Jason Todd - but he's less serial killer and more willing to do what needed to be done. So this is... interesting. XD

Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter are the first two books. The TV first season was based on the first book. The new one is Dexter in the Dark.

I have watched a few episodes of Dexter. He is one weird dude. But, I like the show. Guess I can't help but root for the bad guy.

I've been watching the edited versions on CBS. I do like it! Unfortunately I was spoiled on the ID of the Ice Truck Killer before even starting to watch, so that's a bit of a bummer. But still, I'm enjoying how it's set up. :)

We were lucky to find the entire first season on Netflix, available for streaming on the internet, so we watched it all unedited. Wow, there's a lot of good stuff that you won't get to see/hear on CBS. O_O

Thankfully, we weren't spoiled on the Ice Truck Killer, but we figured it out - or at least had a good hunch - by the end of the first episode he appeared in.

Hehe.. That it does! :D I watch entirely too much TV for my own good, so it's amazing how much this show has captured my attention. O_O

I'll try to pick the books up soonish, now that I know they're out there, too. ^_~
