Thanks so much. Sorry you can't get into the pairing, though. I thought maybe I'd swing a few folks over to my thinking. :p Really, you know I just ship him with everyone, but Donna's the one person I can see him getting with in canon, especially after what they've been through and are still bound to go through. I realize they haven't done nearly enough character development so far... hopefully we'll get to see some more soon. Especially in conjunction with him killing one of the Jokers on Earth-51. O_O Think he may need to have a little breakdown. ^_~

You... haven't been reading Countdown!? O_O Boy, there's a lot of Jason-centric stuff you've missed. They did, indeed go off on a quest through the multiverse, searching for Ray Palmer. When they found him on Earth-51, all hell broke loose, as Monarch showed up with his army of villains from other universes and the Monitors all caught up with them and began fighting amongst themselves. Superman Prime was just the icing on the cake to that disaster. After Jay fought alongside that world's Bruce, dressed as Red Robin, that Bruce was killed by another Joker (he'd killed that world's Joker after his Jason was killed, and went down a really dark path). So Jay killed that Joker. And that's pretty much where it lies right now.

So... yeah...

Ah, it's not that bad, really. They could do better with the characters, but it's improving with the ramping up of the anxiety as we near the crisis.

Glad you liked my take on Donna. I've been putting off trying to write her for a while now, b/c I didn't feel like I had a good handle on her character. Of course, to each their own, as far as pairings go. ^_^

Yeah, I don't get the squick, either, but maybe I'm biased. And I haven't even *seen* the stuff with the spanking! :p

I'm *SO* glad you liked this! ^_^ I really wish they would do more with them in canon, as they're pretty much all each other has right now (except for Kyle, of course :p). So I'm ecstatic that I've gotten them right.

I loved writing that passage, too. It just seemed like, they've been through so much, how could it *not* be invariably complex?
