What a cool story. I don't usually read gen, but I love the idea of Sam (or Dean) running into regular people they knew when younger. That sort of encounter almost always gives a person a different impression of their past, or as Sam thinks - a bit of perspective.

Oh, and Dean described as a 'special snowflake,' I think might win you the internet for the day. Lordy, I laughed so hard.

And yeah, I caught the Sam/Brady. NaughtydirtybadYUMMYwrong thought that it was. *g*
