I love Officer Grayson xD Jason's such a different person with Grayson then he was with Robbie Malone, he knows he can't be as rebellious with the cop as he was with a pimp. I liked his surrender, and how Grayson made an effort to ensure Jason liked it too.

This was so *bad* but in the best of ways. I love how much Officer Grayson worked to make sure Jay felt good. It felt like he was trying to make up for what he did as Robbie. I'm such a sucker for dark and angsty and you just light up all right buttons!

I love the way this feels a little like gradually surfacing, or like Jason is in fact working his way back home. The roleplaying is different in this one; a little more ambiguous, a little lighter (and obviously a little less explicitly dub-con), and both of them feel a little more like they're letting themselves bleed through the roles. It's like Jason has gotten what he really needed and this is a kind of dessert or reward or transition scene to help him come back to himself. A midway station, if you will.

Plus, I really miss Officer Grayson. That was my favourite job for Dick. It said so much about who he was and how he lived. And I really liked him in Bludhaven, too.

Yay, I'm so glad that the bleed-through came out right! :D I really wanted to show how they were both surfacing from the roleplay a little, especially Dick, trying to make up for the roughness of what he did as Robbie. And I'm glad the dub-con was less so; I felt like this one needed to be a little more consensual, and yes, with Jay being rewarded to help him come up out of it.

And oh yes, I miss Officer Grayson, too. I haven't read all that much with Dick as a cop, but what little I have, I loved. It was a good job for Dick to have, even if he was a little constrained in his methodology. :p
