I know! HA! I loved that part... I kept going, 'please please please don't let her pull a Lois and not recognize him, she's been so smart!' and then, BAM she starts yelling. I officially love Carol Ferris now.

And to think, I knew very, very little about her (beyond the fact that she became a Star Sapphire in the comics) before now. XD Who knew?

Yes, that was the best part!! I wanted to scream ... You know him ... you grew up with him ... for goodness sake!! Then, yep, she knew him..

I just posted a review. Not enough story for me, but I loved Hal!! :D

Yep, we definitely needed something to make up for all the times DC has made Lois look like an idiot. Now if they'd just do it in MOS...

And yeah, Ryan Reynolds surprised me as Hal. I thought he wasn't right AT ALL, but he proved me wrong. :p

I'm sure Carol Ferris is an amazing character but Blake Lively does nothing for me. I liked Ryan though. I want him to take another turn as GL in an outing not so focused on set up. :)

*shrug* I dunno. I hadn't ever seen her in anything (that I recall), so I didn't have anything to compare this to. Going in without too much background for the actors or the story was probably a good idea. :p

I've watched Gossip Girl on and off and she just seems to play the same plots over and over again. I just get the feeling that's she never really present in the scenes or she's being overpowered by her fellow actors. Maybe I'm being too harsh but I'm tired of seeing weak female characters in our hero movies. D:

I had to miss the credits because I had to pee really badly but omg, how good would it be if they did a sequel about the Sinestro corps? I'd see that in a heartbeat! I think Mark and Ryan would just own that.

Ugh, Gossip Girl, no wonder she does nothing for you. D: I wouldn't touch that show with a fifteen foot pole. And frankly, I thought she played a fairly strong character in GL. She *did* manage to set the drone fighter to attack Parallax, after all, and knew who Hal was almost instantly.

I'm hoping for a sequel with some of the other human GLs, too. It'd be nice to get Guy, John, and Kyle all on the screen, with the rest of the Corps (and hopefully a lot more of the female Corps members). :p

Yeah, I agree with you on GL. I saw it today and I actually enjoyed it. I laughed out loud (as did most of the theater) when Carol recognized Hal. That was brilliant. :D

Muses are evil. I swear, brains never want to work on what they have to. So troublesome. :\

Our theater even cheered a little at that point. XD

But oh yes, the muses. *shakes head at them* When it rains, it pours, I guess. :p

Left the theater impressed with Ferris! *nods* And also wanting a movie based on Amanda Waller's life!

Definitely! I'm surprised that some people didn't like her, but I guess you can't please everybody.

And, heh, there definitely needs to be more Waller. I was a little disappointed in the casting, b/c Waller is supposed to be a pretty large woman, but Angela Basset brought a pretty fantastic performance. Maybe we can handwave her weight as something that happens after Hammond injures her, and she gets twice as bitter and hardened. :p
