I really love the idea of playing with Spock Prime's memories of his own timeline, with all the what-if's and if-only's. And I've been waiting for fic with Spock Prime and New Chapel for over a month now! :p Figured I'd better get on it myself. ^_~

And yeah, I just about made myself cry while writing this. Darned angst!

Thank you! :) I'd been waiting for others to write these pairings, but since no one else had, I figured I needed to get cracking. ^_~

I also admit I wasn't even thinking along the lines of anything happening between Spock Prime and New Chapel, but I can't really rule it out, either. Not that I would write anything for that, but I can see them at least having great conversation, sharing that plomeek soup, and being quite snuggly. I think Spock Prime would shower her with subtle affections. :)

The way he was sort of ragging on stuffy young nuSpock in that been there, done that sort of way, I got the impression he doesn't give a crap what anyone thinks anymore. He'd get with whoever he wanted this time around and if that happens to be a certain young pretty blonde nurse he missed out on the first go round? I'd bet he'd totally go there. If I were reboot!Christine I would. XD Or that could just be me and the crush I had on Spock when I was a kid apparently never really went away. *facepalm*

But hey, if Sarek can land himself a pretty young blonde wife after Amanda died...? ;D

Yeah, I can see Spock Prime pretty much throwing caution to the wind, too. :p Of course, I doubt that he'd do anything to jeopardize her career or take her away from the Enterprise, when he knows her place was, and should be, there, but then, I don't think he'd be able to really stop himself if things got started, either.

And yeah, there might just be a family trend there. ^_~

I almost can't bear the angsty consequences there, though. Must be because I already throw in enough angst for my liking. :p I sort of just want them all to be sweet and happy. :)

I loved this. Star Trek is my newest fandom and Spock and Kirk my favourite new characters. I've yet to watch TOS ep with Spock and Nurse Chapel but I've immersed myself in enough TOS stuff online to know about it. I can't wait to watch the episode! Currently making my way through season 1 and loving it. I love the spock prime idea :)

Thank you! :D You're gonna love 'Amok Time', I promise. 'The Naked Time' has a few great Spock/Chapel moments, too. ^_~ Of course, a lot of it devolves into Kirk/Spock slashy goodness, but the underlying current of Spock/Chapel is still there. :)
