um, I LOVE THIS. I haven't ever really been into threesomes before this fandom but I think this is my OT3, I adore the sweetness of Sulu and Chekov together and just the loneliness of Kirk, stuck with his responsibilities, you captured that so well here, the other fics with these three that I've read so far have been more about debauchery than anything else, which is hot, sure, but I loved this one because I'm a romantic and they all cared about each other and it was this thing done out of love rather than lust, and I just -- thank you so much for writing this!! ;____; it's hot but so sweet at the same time, and really more true to the characters than any 'oh and then they fucked' kind of threesome could ever be. :))

I've never been really good at writing threesomes, especially the dynamics of them, so I'm pleased I got this one right. I really love the idea of all of them taking care of each other out there during their long mission, doing whatever it takes to keep each other sane, so this was just an extension of that for me. I guess I'm a romantic at heart, too. :)

U-um. Wow. I didn't even know I wanted this threesome until today, and this is just too much like right. I love the pre-existing relationship between Hikaru and Pavel, and the way they open themselves up (quite literally) for Kirk to help him along. It's hot, and sweet, and very considerate, but loses none of the intimacy between any of them.

Also, the bit with Chekov drawing equations on Sulu with his fingers? I never, ever thought that chemical equations could be hot, but Chemistry class can never be the same for me. The +1 thing was... unbelievably hot, but the whole scene is very intimate and sweet with the continuous touching and reminders of their relationship. ♥

I really love Hikaru and Pavel as a couple, and I just loved the idea of Sulu and Kirk having had a fling back at the Academy, so it was sort of a natural progression from those to this. I love having characters take care of one another (I'm a sucker for H/C), too.

I think Chekov has made math and physics sexy, too. ^_~ I couldn't resist that bit of intimacy, with all the touching and tracing. It just seems to fit, you know?
