Between this and him living on the streets after he was brought back to life, Jason can't catch a break, y'know? He's 12, on the streets, turning tricks for money by his own and probably watching out for pimps, and having unprotected oral sex -- all the risks, and yet he still does it and avoids being a victim. This cements the fact that for all the shit that happens, Jason knows how to take care of himself and how to deal even at that age. I liked this, and it's an excellent character study. Well done!

Jason's really drawn the short straw. Seems like all the very worst stuff happens to him. He's definitely a survivor, which is saying a lot, considering the things he's been telling me happened to him during this time. O_O This ficlet was only the tip of the iceberg, I think!
