Steph and I are having a VERY INTELLECTUAL CONVERSATION about movies and sex scenes (Enemy at the Gates is still the hottest thing ever) which led to discussion of the Fiennes brothers.

Now, I know I did a poll like this a year or so ago, but I can't remember who won, and it IS a very important topic.

Sure. Fiennes. Whatever. )

Well, um, you'll see Ralph as Voldemort soon?

RENT THE ENGLISH PATIENT, FOR IT IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER AND EVERYONE EVERYWHERE SHOULD LOVE IT.

(Also, The Constant Gardener is my favorite movie of this year, and you should see that, too.)

You mean I'm not the only one who has to take a moment after that sex scene?

It's good not to be alone. ;)

Oh. And Ralph. Very much Ralph.

Oh, you're definitely not the only one. It's seriously the hottest sex scene I can think of - and there's not even that much skin.

Mmmm.

Though I have voted for Ralph due to my love of The English Patient (and the definitely with tongues kiss at the end of Strange Days)- I once saw a play that Joesph was in and was this <-------> close to his naked back.

Well maybe it was a bit further away, but still..... guh.

He did a season with the RSC the first year that I was at university in London (so that was about '96). The play was The Herbal Bed, and was about Shakespeare's daughter (I think). He was also in As You Like It that year, and Troilus and Cressida. Because I am a stalker theatre geek, I went to see all of them. I miss my student discounts.

Reposted so that it is in the right place. Stooopid lj.
