The Soviets were equal opportunity killer/deporters. A recent article I read said that of the 10,000 people deported from Estonia on 14 June, 400 were Estonian Jews. Their crime was not being Jewish, but being influential within their communities.
Well, Riga has been there for more than 600 years; it'll be there when you get ready to visit.
