SUMMARY: Sho and Nino finally able to start their family but will it be as easy as they imagined it? Or did they plan it properly at all what they’re up to?...

Chapter 4: Their make-up
When a bit later Aiba returned he only glanced at Nino who laying on the couch snuggled deep under the blankets that Ohno gave him and squeezing his eyes shut pretended to be sleeping. He wasn’t though and neither his hosts believed him. He heard Ohno whispering something to his husband - probably the reason why Nino was crushing on their couch - then it hardly took half an hour to the couple finish bathing their daughter then soon everything went silent in the apartment. Just Nino couldn’t sleep no matter how tired he was or how much he tossed on the couple’s other way comfortable couch. A few hours later he accepted the fact that he can’t sleep; not without Sho there next to him…
Without making any noise he folded the blankets then sneaking to the door left the apartment. The streets where cold and dark but to his luck he could get a taxi soon to take him home as soon as possible.
Their apartment was dark just as the streets out there but as Nino walked in he noticed the light in the bedroom. It turned out that Sho forget to turn off the bedside lamp when he fell asleep but he didn’t get a peaceful rest either. He trashed around in the bed, his face frowned as if he was having a nightmare.
“Don’t go… Kazu…” Sho mumbled in his sleep as he tossed on his back.
Nino sat on the edge of the bed and reached his hand out to brush Sho’s locks from his sweaty forehead.
“Sssh… It’s okay, Sho… I’m here…” he murmured silently running his fingers through the older man’s hair. “It’s okay… It’s just a bad dream…” he whispered to the sleeping man calmingly.
Sho stirred and opened his eyes sleepily.
“Kazu… you’re here…?” Sho breathed out and his eyes closed back.
“Yeah, I’m here… I won’t go anywhere…” Nino said reassuring his boyfriend. “Go back to sleep…” he told to the older man then.
Sho mumbled something incoherent under his breath as an answer but drifted back to sleep by the younger man’s gentle touched before the last syllable left his lips. Nino watched him over and felt guilty for hurting him. Then putting his head on Sho’s chest curled up in a small ball at his side and the rapper’s heartbeat soon lulled him into sleep as well…
A few hours later Sho woke up feeling a familiar weight on his chest. He peeked through his lashes sleepily and seeing the mop of dark hair he remember Nino’s return during the night what he thought was just a dream. He couldn’t fight back the urge to touch it and make sure the younger man was really there. Nino stirred from his half-slumber immediately at his touch and sit up quickly rubbing his eyes.
“Oh… Sho… g’morning…” the gamer mumbled.
“You came back…” Sho said happily not caring he stating the obvious and pulled Nino back to his chest to feel him. “Kazu, I’m sorry I forced this onto you… I didn’t want to… I never guessed you…” the rapper started but Nino pulled away quickly shaking his head furiously.
“No, Sho-chan, don’t apologize! You did nothing wrong. It’s me who should say sorry. I told you horrible things, forgive me, please! I…” Nino searched for the right words desperately. “I… never really believed… that it can happen, I guess… I thought if I say yes back then, it’s just the matter of time and you’ll realize as well that it won’t work and then you’ll drop the topic… But it happened and…” Nino closed his eyes and let out a shaky breath. “I panicked… I didn’t know what to do now, what will people say and… and… You were so happy about it as if it would be normal…” Nino said bitterly.
Sho sat next to him speechless.
“I… I’m so sorry, baby… I had no idea you feel this way…” he said finally though he find disgustingly lame and hackneyed his own words. “I… we… Let me get dressed and I’ll take you to the hospital. I’m sure they… they can do something to… to make it go away…” the rapper said silently lowering his head then moved to get up from the bed.
“No!” Nino cried out and grabbed Sho’s hand and held it tightly as if his life was depending on that. “Please, don’t say that…” he pleaded.
“What? But, Kazu, if you don’t want this I won’t force you to do this… You’re the most important person in my life and your happiness is everything to me…” Sho said putting his free hand on Nino’s face. “If I have to renounce about having children then…”
“If my happiness is that important to you then don’t do anything that’d harm this baby…” Nino interrupted him.
“But Kazu, you just said…” the rapper said confused.
“Look, Sho-chan, I’m selfish and coward and obviously slow on realizing what I need and want but Oh-chan helped me to realize what the important things are…” Nino started.
“The important things…?” Sho asked back slowly sitting back next to his lover.
Nino nodded.
“You, your love and this baby. He said this baby is our miracle and I… we… should cherish it cause if don’t, we will regret it later… So, please, forgive me and don’t try to harm the baby… This baby’s innocent… Just because I’m a coward don’t… Please, Sho-chan…” Nino pleaded.
“Oh, Kazu…” Sho pulled the smaller guy into his arms. “You’re not a coward… You were just frightened, panicked as you realized too… It’s okay to panic a little at a situation like this… And I’m at fault too for not noticing what you were going through, what I was putting you through…” the older man said softly caressing Nino’s back.
Nino snuggled closer to Sho’s well-built chest relieved. He was still a bit afraid of this whole pregnancy thing but decided to do his best to overcome it. And he believed that with Sho at his side and with their friends’ support he’ll be able to do this…
“Anou… guys… I… have to tell you something…” Nino said uncharacteristically nervous when they were getting ready for shooting another episode of Himitsu no Arashi-chan.
Ohno, Aiba and Jun looked at the gamer at this though the couple had a pretty good guess what he wants to tell. Nino stole a glance from Sho who sat next to him holding his hand to support him but did only that. Previously Nino made his promise he will let him tell the news to their bandmates officially. He felt he has to do this to put things on its place in him.
“I… kind of… happened… to be pregnant…” Nino said finally and to his greatest annoyance he felt himself blushing. Even he was kind of relieved that his secret was out finally and officially he still thought it was embarrassing and humiliating and he still blamed for Sho for everything. But on the other hand: he wouldn’t want it any other way…
Aiba grinned at his best friend hearing the news - even he knew it already - and Ohno smiled fondly at the gamer too. Only Jun reacted totally differently.
“Something must be wrong with my hearing cause I just heard you say ‘I kind of happened to be pregnant’” Arashi’s DoS said on a mocking tone.
“That’s what I just said. Are you a parrot or something that you have to repeat everything?” Nino retorted brattily though his cheeks were bright pink.
“You’re serious? You don’t say this just because once in your life it’s not you who’s in the center of attention?...” Jun asked still suspicious. When Nino and Sho both nodded to confirm it, the HanaDan star sighed dramatically. “For God’s sake why do I have to put up one more pregnant man? As if Aiba-chan’s pregnancy wouldn’t enough of specialties for a lifetime already…” Jun complained.
“Jun-tan! Don’t be like that! Even if I don’t mind what your opinion on my past pregnancy, it’s not nice to treat a currently pregnant mommy like that” Aiba said scolding the youngest member.
“I’m still a man, not a mommy, thank you very much!” Nino protested pouting.
Sho chuckled a bit and pulled the gamer closer to whisper in his ear.
“Don’t pout, they’re right… You’re the most beautiful mommy that our baby could wish for…” the rapper whispered in his ear teasingly.
Nino blushed more at this and hit Sho’s chest lightly but said nothing just turned his attention back to their friends.
“By the way why are you not even surprised, Aiba-chan?” Jun asked him frustrated.
“Why would I be? It’s not that we didn’t know it yet…” the Miracle Boy said innocently shrugging his shoulder.
“What? You and Riidaa already knew it?” the youngest member asked almost shocked.
“We knew” Ohno and Aiba said in union and nodded.
The younger member kind of felt hurt that he was the last one who got to know about it. He clicked his tongue annoyed to shrug off this feeling then turned to Sho and Nino.
“Well, congratulation you two...” he told them. “And Sho, good luck with the brat. Knowing how he used to act normally, in your place I wouldn’t want to know how he will be when those mood-swings hit…” Jun hinted mockingly.
“Oh, shut up!” Nino groaned pissed and threw a cushion from the couch at the younger man.
Before Jun had a chance to retort for the attack, an AD came to announce they were ready for the shooting and Nino stuck out his tongue at him victoriously and skipped out of the greenroom dragging Sho after him…
