Well, there's the weather. Still haven't made it to the beach for all it's been amazing, mostly due to the fact that they decided to close the beach I can enjoy the water in due to their budgeting bullshit. I understand about the doctor. We found a great doctor when we moved here. Listened to us, gave us her opinion, worked with us on many things, including self medication on my sleep problem and anxiety issues. (And for my wife as well.) She's a great doctor and we are really glad we found her.

Great news on the weight loss! Congrats! I hope it keeps happening for you if that's what you want!

I keep trying on my own but it's stalled and I am doing what I can to hold even.

Nods. usually it doesn't work no matter what I do, but I think something's changed, so am going to be happy with it. And yeah, it makes such a huge difference to finally find a good doctor that works with you instead of...well..what some of them do. :)

I can understand about living in a lookist town. My neighbor made an illegal left-hand turn and got off with a verbal warning. My neighbor is a stunning 6 ft. tall blonde. I got a ticket for a busted tail light. I am not a 6 ft. tall blonde.

And the kids in this town? They don't even go thru that "awkward stage".

On the other side of that though? I blew a stopsign altogether, and got off with a verbal warning. Female cop. :D Was just deeply respectful and looked adequately depressed.

I'm assuming you've had your sugar and insulin levels check to make sure it's not due to that though.

Not lately, but no I am not diabetic. It IS likely related however to PCOS, or something similar. Just seems to be adjusting now that I am appproaching the far end of what puberty (Which started it) started. lol
