Smooth Sailing

I'm working in a custom layout for a community I co-mod, eastwick_fic . The layout works just fine and I have everything where it should be except the sidebox is cutting through my banner. It should be placed below the navigation bar but when I put in the pixel height of my banner, it moved the sidebox up. The sidebox position is at absolute; I changed it to ( Read more... )

Well.

If you want, I can give you a code that lets you html out the navigation bar, and you can write the affect that you want out with div layers there. That's what's always worked for me.

*laugh* Okay, I'm handy, but I'm not that handy. Basically, I just need to move the sidebox below the navbar. Would this code work for that?

Oh! I just noticed you're working with Smooth Sailing.There was a Boxer help post below you, so I got confused. Sorry about that. XD I'll go look again.

Hmm, try changing top to margin-top itself, or padding-top. LJ gets finicky about CSS, so oneor the other usuallyworks, but never any other variation.

In the .sidebox section, I mean.
