I think this is an IE rendering issue. They show up in Firefox, and they're in the HTML code when you load in IE, but they don't get rendered.

It isn't immediately obvious WHY they don't get rendered, but I suspect it has to do with the image being set align=right. That is just an untested suspicion though.
